Asociación nacional de informadores de la salud Award: Mary sol Berbés and Berbés Asociados, awarded by the spanish national healthcare journalists´association
Asociación Nacional de Informadores de la Salud (ANIS), the reference
organization for the professional representation of the healthcare journalists
in Spain,
has awarded Mary Sol Berbés, Head and founder of Berbés Asociados, a special
prize in its 15th anniversary for the PR Agency´s collaboration and
support since the beginnings of the organization. The event took place in
Madrid the 18th of June 2009.
ANIS, established in 1994, is the organization that protects the interests, the professional tasks and the legal rights of the Spanish journalists specialized in healthcare information. Its aims are to protect their interests, boost the professional training in order to obtain higher quality healthcare information in Spain, represent its associates and watch over the professional ethics and the right to publish and receive credible and impartial information in this area. It has undergone a rapid growth and it actually brings together most of the journalists devoted to healthcare information in Spain.
This award recognizes and praises Mary Sol and Berbés Asociados´ effort to conceive, elaborate and spread accurate, high-quality and useful information for the Spanish journalists. The prize also applauds Berbés Asociados´ commitment with ANIS in line with their goal to "fight for quality healthcare information in Spain and for a high and continuous professional training of the journalists devoted to this area".
"This award makes us feel very proud of our work and helps us in putting even more efforts into helping the journalists to spread precise, accurate and impartial information about the healthcare sector. The event, which was held in the Press Association in Madrid, was part of a ceremony arranged by the ANIS to commemorate its 15th anniversary.
