Berbés Asociados, Key Supporter of Important Patients’ Forum in Spain

MADRID, SPAIN, May 27 - Foro Español de Pacientes (FEP), the organization overseeing and ensuring the medical rights of patients in Spain, has awarded Mary Sol Berbés, Head and founder of Berbés Asociados, the recognition of "Amigos del Foro" for the PR Agency´s collaboration and support since the organization inception.

Foro Español de Pacientes, established in 2004, consolidated and grew over the past five years to be the sole organization representing patients' rights in Spain. With more than 1,000 patient organizations andnearly 1,000.,000 patient affiliations, FEP members include organizations such as the Spanish Federation for Diabetes (Federación de Diabéticos Españoles), the Spanish Association for Cancer Patients (Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer), the Spanish Association of the Heart (Fundación Española del Corazón) or the Spanish Association for Rare Illnesses (Asociación Española de Enfermedades Raras).

 This award, which coincides with the celebration of the 5th Anniversary of the FEP, recognizes and praises Mary Sol and Berbés Asociados´ effort to conceive, elaborate and spread accurate, high-quality and useful information to both journalists and patients in Spain. The prize also applauds Berbés Asociados´ commitment to the FEP and their hard work in tandem with the organization to achieve its goals.

The event, which was held in Barcelona, was part of a ceremony arranged by the Fundació Josep Laporte to commemorate its 10th anniversary.
